| DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS OF THE EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT |
The Executive Vice President has a special role to be a local representative of the Corporation in Alumni and Academy events. A candidate must be an active member of the Corporation within the Annapolis area (the term Annapolis area, as used herein, is defined as including that area of Baltimore, Annapolis, the District of Columbia and all adjoining areas within a radial distance of one hundred fifty (150) miles from the Zero marker, defined as the Chapel Dome. An ExecVP shall be eligible for succeeding terms. In the absence of or in the event of the incapacity the President, he will perform all duties of the President. The ExecVP must appoint annually, with the concurrence of the Board of Directors, an active member of the Corporation to serve as Corresponding Secretary; the Corresponding Secretary shall be responsible to receive and communicate class news, and provide such other public relations functions as assigned by the Board of Directors; upon ratification of the appointment the Executive Vice President shall notify appropriate organizations. |
