Subject: Children's Hospice International

Dear Classmate

I need your help! I recently joined the Board of Children’s Hospice International (CHI). CHI has been helping the families of children with life- threatening conditions since 1983 (for an overview of who we are and what we do, see the attached  Executive Summary).  We are a registered 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization that depends on donations from individuals and companies.  In order to continue our mission of providing effective integrated palliative care to over 1.3 million families, your financial support is critical.  In the best of times, keeping our organization operating with the right level of resources is a tough challenge.  In this difficult economy, it is even more daunting.  Recently we have seen our staff reduced from seven team members to just two.  With the current national focus on health care, there is a very short window of opportunity to get ChiPACC legislation passed so that every family that needs palliative care has access to it.  (EXECUTIVE SUMMARY)

The immediate need is for $1 Million. Please be as generous as you can in helping us to continue our vital efforts on behalf of these families who have nowhere else to turn. There are three ways that you can donate:

  1. Donate through the GIVE button on our website:  WWW.CHIONLINE.ORG

  2. Send a check to:

Children's Hospice International, Inc.

1101 King Street, Suite 360

Alexandria, VA  22314  USA

  1. Call CHI at 703.684.0330 or 800-2-4-CHILD (800-242-4453) and use your credit card.

On behalf of over I million families, thank you for your generous donation.

Beat Army!!
